UPDF officer flies in to attend daughter’s swearing-in event.
The incoming prefects of Kingsway Primary School in Wakiso district, took oath recently.
Gen. Dick Olum, a Military Attaché in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who spoke on behalf of the parents, amused people when he said he flew back to witness his daughter take oath.
“As I set off, I kept praying to God to allow me be present at the swearing-in of my daughter.” he said.
His daughter, Phillipa Olum, is the incoming head girl of the school.
The head teacher, Aggrey Kimera, thanked parents for entrusting the school with their children. He urged the new leaders to serve diligently.
