Mathematics
As we approach the end of the year, Primary Seven candidates are busy preparing for their Primary Leaving Examinations.
Teachers have shared tips on how to answer questions as you do final touches in your revision.
Read question more than once
Always attempt to read the questions more than once so that you thoroughly understand them. Remember to do all the questions and show the necessary working. Candidates should do frequent practice in mathematics during their free time.
Always write the operation signs and indicate them properly such as additions, subtractions and multiplications and cross bars in case of divisions. Limit the use of pencil work to only drawings and shadings.
All writing and labeling should be made in ink
Never leave out or change units given in the question as you might change the meaning of the original question hence failing it. Invest more time in the subject, especially in the areas of difficulty.
Have a positive attitude towards the subject and never fear your teachers or friends that are better than you in the subject. This will help you improve in the areas where you are struggling. Always be extra careful when answering questions because no extra time is given.
Cross out mistake once
In case of any mistake, one should cross out his or her work once and neatly. Leaving the mistake uncrossed will lead to loss of marks as the examiner will not mark it.

I keep follow current affairs by watching news and reading newspapers. For example if they ask for the vice-president of Uganda, I can correctly answer; Jessica Alupo.

I give extra attention to topics that I find difficult. I also consult teachers for guidance in those areas

Reading books can get boring and the brain cannot take in any more. So I swim and also play football. This helps me to relax and refresh my mind.
