It was a colourful day at Christ the King Junior School, Kisozi, Buddo in Wakiso district. The school was celebrating Christ the King Day and their first anniversary recently. Children in Top Class also graduated and will join Primary One next year.
The day started with marching led by a band from the school through the trading centre. Thereafter, there was mass presided over by the Rev. Father John Mary Nyanzi of Nakasongola Parish.
Hadijah Namutebi, the senior commissioner of Police, encouraged parents to uphold children’s rights.
Vicent Lubega, the director, thanked parents for supporting their children’s education.
Pupils entertained guests through a fashion show, dances, skits, poems and speeches.
