Between Israel And Jordan There Is A Body Of Water Called The Dead Sea. Why Is It Called “Dead”?

The sea is called “dead” because it has such a high concentration of salt that there are no fish, plants or any other visible life in it. It is a tourist spot in Israel and Jordan as visitors float on the sea. Because the water is full of salt, it is much denser and heavier than fresh water. That is why human beings are able to float on the sea.
