Pupils of Kamuli Girls Boarding Primary School in Kamuli district, held a concert to create awareness on creativity.
The event featured Kisoga and Kiganda dress codes as well as traditional foods. Participants wore creative designs made out of local materials such as banana leaves, banana fibre, polyethylene paper and old newspapers.
Oliver Nambi, the chairperson of Kamuli District Head Teachers Association, also the head teacher of Busoga High School, urged the girls to always mind about their dignity, self-esteem and community values.
Joy Kasana Muwanika the head teacher of Kamuli Girls encouraged the girls: “Always have role models, be of high value and never settle for less.
