Did you know that your gift or talent could pave way for you in future? Do not ignore it. If there is something you are interested in doing, ask your parents to help you develop it. This could be in fashion, art, sports, writing…the list is endless. Do something about it.
Children from various schools displayed skill in singing, dancing and playing of instruments such as the piano, guitar and violin at Serena Hotel Kampala, recently.
The schools that took part were St. Louis Primary School in Kajansi, Greenhill Academy, Kampala Parents and Kingsway Nursery and Primary School.
Emmanuel Zzinda from Kampala Music Society said the event aimed at developing children’s potential in music as well as giving children the confidence to perform before people. He urged parents to support their children’s talents and dreams.
Juliet Balikuddembe, the director of St. Louis Primary School, said that schools should not only focus on academics, but they should also encourage extra-curricular activities.
