A total of 39 incoming prefects of Mirembe Junior School, Namuwongo, Kampala took oath recently.
Faith Marie Laker is the head prefect, deputised by Howard Matsiko.
Laker encouraged contestants who did not go through not to give up on their leadership dreams.
The Rev. Anthony Kamukama urged pupils to respect the and support the leaders they elected. He dedicated the incoming prefects to God.
Jolly Kamishani, the director, thanked parents for instilling confidence in children and supporting them as they pursue leadership goals.
