Sunday, June 26 was a colourful day at Namilyango Junior Boys School in Seeta, Mukono district. Mother Kevin Main Hall was beautifully decorated to usher the new Christians into the Catholic faith. A total of 244 boys got confirmed into Christianity, while 80 received their first holy communion.
Father Ibrahim Kafeero presided over the ceremony, which took place at the school.
Sr. Immaculate Nabukalu, the head teacher, thanked the parents for supporting the children in their Christian and academic journey. Since it was also the school’s visitation day, there was a lot of food and drinks brought by the parents. It was a day for merrymaking.
