Mathematics
A candidate should believe in themselves. This confidence comes only if a pupil revises daily.
Every day, a candidate should practice at least two numbers from section B. These should be from different topics. For instance; venn diagrams, sets and fractions. They should also try out as many numbers as possible. When stuck, please inquire from the teacher.
Begin With The Simplest Questions
When answering questions, a candidate should begin with the simplest questions. This is because after answering the simple ones, a candidate will have time to think through the questions that challenged them.
Avoid Careless Mistakes
Some candidates know the working and properly write down answers. However, they might forget important details, for example, the units or volume. You must indicate the cubic units.
Some learners do not plan their answers or carefully think about what they are going to write down. As a result, they make unnecessary crossings. When you have many crossings, the examiner may fail to see what you have written. In the end, you get the answer wrong.
They should also remember to show the working because without it they will miss marks.
