Find A Hard-Boiled Eg
What you will need
- Two raw eggs
- One hard-boiled egg
In this force and motion science experiment, we shall try to find a hard-boiled egg
Instructions
1. Spin each of the eggs and observe what happens.
2. Two of the eggs will wobble, but one will spin. The egg that spins is the hard-boiled egg.
3. Now lightly touch each egg as it spins.
4. The hard-boiled egg will stop spinning, but the raw eggs will continue to move
What is happening
Inertia will cause the loose yolks and whites of the raw eggs to continue trying to move
