Mulago Catholic Church celebrated 66 years of existence recently. The celebrations took place at the parish church at Mulago. Prayers were presided over by the Vicar General of Kampala Archdiocese, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Charles Kasibante.
He confirmed 78 young parishioners into the Catholic faith and encouraged them to be soldiers of Christ.
Confirmation, according to the teaching of the Catholic faith, is the sacrament through which Christians receive the Holy Spirit and His gifts, which include wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, holiness and fear of the Lord.
