The Bishop of Mukono diocese, James William Sebaggala, has asked children to take their studies seriously.
‘If your parents give you a chance to study by paying your school fees, please be serious. There are children who do not have chance to go to school,” he said.
The Bishop was officiating at the confirmation ceremony at Martyrs Way Nursery and Primary School, Namugongo-Sonde, recently.
Jackson Tumuhairwe, the director, thanked parents for always supporting their children.
A total of 88 pupils were confirmed. The ceremony was crowned with entertainment and cutting of cake.
