Vision Group CEO Don Wanyama was Wednesday presented with gold and silver medals, plus certificates scooped by four children’s books published by Vision Group.
Children’s book author and editor Cathy Kreutter presented Wanyama with the awards and certificates at the Vision Group head offices in Kampala.
The book titled I Know an Old Mzee who swallowed a Fly …retold by Kreutter, illustrated by John Mary Mukiza, collaged and designed by Eric Kreutter won the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in the USA
Kreutter said the second book to win two awards was, The Rock and Roll Rolex she co- co-authored with Andrew Jackson Obol.
The book Zookeeper authored by Ugandan youngster Ndhego Zikusoka equally won the 2022 Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in the USA under the Animals/Pets Non-Fiction category.
Kreutter’s book Something Old, Something New also won second place, a silver medal and a certificate at the North Street Book Prize 2022 in the USA.
