Gardening Skills At Kids’ Kingdom

Children of Kids’ Kingdom Kindergarten and Daycare Centre, Namugongo, amazed parents when they showcased a high level of skills in gardening.

This was during their science fair under the theme; Food and Nutrition and Embracing Urban Farming.

Children displayed a variety of vegetables they had grown. They also explained how the plants are grown plus the food value our bodies gain from the vegetables. Each child had their own garden.

The director, Oweekitiibwa Sylvia Mazzi Kakonge, said it is important for children to know how food is grown.
