The joy of receiving help The residents of Kanyogoga also benefited Respectful while giving to the elderly Pupils of Silver Spoon Primary School in Namuwongo, Kampala donated items to 350 unprivileged families in the surrounding areas of Kelezia, Muwefu, Centenary and Kanyogoga Zones in Namuwongo recently.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, the pupils donated sugar, salt, soap, shoes and clothes to the needy.
Jonah Walusimbi, the manager, said the school wants to teach children to develop the spirit of giving.
Peter Lubwama, the LCII secretary for defence of Wabigalo parish, thanked the pupils for their generousity.
Joseph Okoboi, the head teacher, thanked parents for supporting their children to help the vulnerable.
