Primary Seven candidates of Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School, Kisaasi were urged to work now on what they intend to become.
During the Career Day held at the school recently, Rose Nantanda, the general manager of Sir Apollo Kaggwa Schools said:
“This is the time for you to focus on the career you would like to pursue. If you want to be a doctor, you will have to put more emphasis on science subjects,” she said.
Samuel Tweheyo, the head teacher, said the function was aimed at exposing pupils to various careers so that they can make informed choices. “Some children get to higher studies when they do not know what they want become. Being focused early in life helps to give them direction,” he explained.
